This limited-time offer is perfect for those looking to maximize their Rapid Rewards points for travel within the continental United States, but also Puerto Rico and Hawaii. How to Access the Discount

To take advantage of this 25% discount, travelers need to enter the promo code POINTS25 in the Promo Code box when booking their flights on either Southwest.com or swabiz.com.

• Booking period: December 17 through December 19, 2024
• Travel period:
  • Cont. U.S. and interisland HI flights from 1/7-3/5/25
  • Intl./PR/HI flights from 1/7-5/22/25.
• Blackout dates:
  • Continental U.S. travel blacked out February 13, 14, and 17, 2025.
  • Travel to international/Hawaii/Puerto Rico blacked out February 13-16 and March 7-April 19, 2025.
  • Travel from international/Hawaii/Puerto Rico blacked out February 21-23 and March 14-April 27, 2025.

The promotion applies to new reservations only and must be booked and flown during the designated Booking and Travel Periods. The 25% discount is valid for one-way or round-trip Wanna Get Away® and Wanna Get Away Plus® fares booked with Rapid Rewards points. It’s essential to note that the discount will be applied before taxes and fees.

Important Conditions and Restrictions

• Limited Seats and Days: Availability is limited, so travelers should book as early as possible.
• No Cash + Points: The discount does not apply to flights purchased with a combination of cash and points.
• Non-Refundable Changes: Any changes made to the itinerary after purchase will eliminate the qualification for this promotion.
• All reward travel under this promotion is subject to taxes, fees, and other government or airport-imposed charges of at least $5.60 per one-way trip. These charges can vary significantly based on the arrival and departure destinations and must be paid at the time of booking.
• The discount is not valid for group travel, Southwest Vacations®, government fares, or bookings made with previously issued gift cards or flight credits. 

Rapid Rewards Points Cancellations

When booking award fares, passengers will receive all fare product features except for earning Rapid Rewards points.

If a reservation is canceled at least ten minutes before the scheduled departure, any unused points will be returned to the passenger’s Rapid Rewards account.
